ABOUT THE FARM
Saunders Farm is located on Old Albany Post Road, the historic earthen highway of the original route between New York City and Albany. The property begins with rolling pastures and culminates on a majestic ridge with 360-degree views of the Hudson Highlands. Black Angus cattle roam free.
The cow-friendly artwork was installed in a variety of settings; ranging from intimate woody glens, to open fields and dramatic vast expanses defined by stone walls.

Valerie Green/Dance Entropy Presents Utopia
What does Utopia mean to you? Is it a physical, external place—or, might it reside internally?
Valerie Green/Dance Entropy, in collaboration with visual artist Keren Anavy, explores the idea of the perfect place through the mediums of dance and visual art. The new work questions whether Utopia might be an internal place, investigated through personal and intimate moments and alongside the community. The notion of what it means to be safe persists inside an environment that is continually built and deconstructed.
Performed by: Caitlyn Casson, Erin Giordano, Kristin Licata and Richard Scandola
Sep. 22, 2-6 pm (rain date: Sunday, Sep. 23) 2:30 to 3:30 pm
